Adult Ed. Continues at TSRC.

Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 8:45 a.m. we begin our first series of lessons at our Adult Ed. hour. This is a six-session series. This course is on Prayer. We are using Philip Yancey's "Prayer - Does It Make A Difference" material.  Come early and get some coffee. We'll start at 8:45 a.m.! The worship service proper begins at 10:00 a.m.

Order of Service, January 10, 2021, With Baptism

Sunday, January 10, 2021 The First Sunday After The Epiphany A Service of Holy Baptism Liturgy of the Word Prelude “Come, Holy Spirit” The prelude helps us to focus on where we are and why we are here. Quiet, meditative mood is encouraged, prayerfully expelling mental distractions. Processional Hymn All stand. The people of God sang as they approached the Temple for worship. The procession helps us remember that coming into the presence of God is an extraordinarily special privilege. During this hymn, the younger children are dismissed to attend Children’s Chapel. “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” Hymnal #139 Opening Acclamation Call to worship, to purposefully enter God’s nearer presence.      Celebrant :   Blessed be God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.      People :        And blessed be his kingdom, now and forever.  Amen.
