  Sunday, December 27, 2020 The First Sunday After Christmas Day Prelude    “O Come, Let Us Adore Him”  The prelude helps us to focus on where we are and why we are here. Quiet, meditative mood is encouraged, prayerfully expelling mental  distractions. Liturgy of the Word Processional Hymn All stand. The people of God sang as they approached the Temple for worship. The procession helps us remember that coming into the presence of God is an extraordinarily special privilege. During this hymn, the younger children are dismissed to attend Children’s Chapel   “We Three Kings”    Hymnal #288   Opening Acclamation    Call to worship, to purposefully enter God’s nearer presence. The people standing, the Celebrant says:   Celebrant      Bless ed be God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
